Buggin'

I washed the outside of the house the other day and came across a couple of photos. I snagged the 300 2.8 and popped some shots off.

Hotlanta

Atlanta....Idaho. Yeah, I hadn't heard of it either. Turns out to be a great little ghost town/camping spot. I thought of the Blair Witch Project the whole time i was there. I shot all these with my point and shoot not that it matters to any of you though. Top image is of my step brother, second shot is his cousin and the fourth shot is my step sister. All in all it was a great time sleeping in a tent for the first time in 15 years and without the internet for 5 days straight. :)

Rekindling a Cementery

This was an odd shoot. I go out to the middle of nowhere to locate an ancient cemetery that has been overgrown and had no upkeep whatsoever in the last 50 years or so. Turns out it's been completely forgotten about. It's privately owned but should be publicly kept up. No one knows what the hell to do with it so someone cut the grass and we had a rededication ceremony for it. I felt like the kid in the picture for the most part until I started talking to the locals about the history of the site. (I was a history minor after all. :)

Cheap Wet Date

This young couple has decided to scale back on the dinners and the movies for "date night" (which as we all know is when people who are married and have too many kids decide that "date night" is the only way to keep the flame burning) and do some cheap frisbee golf. Well....as it goes this nice young lady lost her frisbee in the creek and fell in trying to retrieve it. I felt really bad and we cut the shoot short, I knew I had what I needed. :)
